Structural Composition Of Cold Roll Forming Machine

Oct 08, 2022

Cold roll forming machine, also know as arch forming machine is widely used in the forming of tunnels, subways, hydro-power stations, underground caverns and other I-beams, channel steel angle iron U-shaped steel and other profiles.

Cold roll forming machine is new new type of equipment for processing and manufacturing tunnel support steel arches. It consists of six major parts: base, mechanical transmission, cold bending system, hydraulic system, electrical control system and auxiliary system.

The machine mainly includes: the base of the equipment oil cylinder, the clamping lever group mounted on the carriage, and the end box containing 2 clamping jaw devices. The oil pump unit is installed on the other end of the base.

1. The clamping lever group has two thick clamping rods, which are fixed on a large support shaft. Both sides of the support shaft are supported on the carriage. The carriage is placed on the base panel and can follow the slide rails on the base. scroll. Between the two clamping rods there is a lead screw pull that goes over the core of the fulcrum. This lead screw is driven by another motor. In this way, the projection mounted on the lead screw can be moved forward to the interface between the two clamping rods.

2. The two steel connecting rods on the cylinder head are connected with the clamping rod, which can make the clamping rod shake. This type of connecting rod is a special structure that ensures that the working load is applied to the top of the connecting rod and not on the shaft pin. That way, all the pressure of the large diameter cylinder is applied to the crankshaft. When the cylinder pulls forward, the clamping rod first clamps the steel. Subsequently, the entire set of clamping levers and the carriage are guided into displacement. The thrust from the cylinder pull is applied to the ribs when bending. The clamping rods are arranged so that the pressure applied by the clamps to the rib face is the same.

3. Clamping Rods - Clamping rods made of cast steel that hold the ribs firmly. A moderate tool placed between the bars ensures that the pressure is properly applied to the rib, and a special tool at the front is used to slant the lip. The replacement of common tools for bending various types of steel is very fast. These tools are installed between the two rods by means of mortise and end plate, and there is a manual screw rod vertical to the clamping rod, which is used to limit the opening of the two clamping rods to prevent the lost motion distance from being too large.
