Floor decking sheets, also known as steel decking, are produced from metal coils through precision Floor Deck Roll Forming Machines. These sheets are integral components in modern construction, providing structural support and enhancing the efficiency of various building processes.

Applications of Floor Decking Sheets:

1. Power Plants and Electrical Equipment Companies: Ensuring robust and durable flooring solutions for heavy machinery.

2. Automotive Showrooms: Providing sleek and strong floors that can support the weight of multiple vehicles.

3. Steel Structure Workshops and Offices: Enhancing the structural integrity of industrial and commercial buildings.

4. Airport Terminals and Railway Stations: Offering durable flooring solutions that can withstand high foot traffic.

5. Stadiums, Concert Halls, and Theaters: Ensuring safety and stability in venues that host large crowds.

6. Large Supermarkets and Logistics Centers: Providing strong and reliable flooring for extensive storage and retail spaces.

7.Olympic Venues and Sports Arenas: Meeting the high standards required for international sporting events and facilities.

To meet the rapid construction requirements of main steel structures, floor decking sheets can quickly provide a firm working platform and allow for the sequential construction process of laying profiled steel sheets across multiple floors and pouring concrete slabs in layers.

Specifications:

Thickness: 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm

Width: 688mm to 940mm

Height: 51mm to 76mm

Composite Structure:

The floor decking sheets work in conjunction with reinforced concrete structures to form a composite structure.

Installation Process:

1. Connection to Steel Beams: The sheets are laid and connected to the steel beams. The ends of the sheets are fully welded to the beams, while shear studs are used to penetrate and weld the sheets to the beams in the middle.

2. Clamping: The sheets are joined together using specialized clamps that ensure a tight fit.

3. End Caps: Special galvanized end caps are point-welded to both the sheets and the steel beams to prevent movement.

4. For the curved areas, floor decking sheets are cut using a plasma cutting machine, ensuring smooth cuts and intact galvanized surfaces. Welding of the floor decking sheets is done using manual arc spot welding, with E4303 electrodes of 3.2mm diameter, and the penetration welding points are 16mm. Initially, the designed weld point spacing was 305mm, but this was doubled to ensure that the floor decking sheets do not deform when workers walk on them and to prevent leakage of concrete slurry during the pouring process.

Key Features Floor Deck

1. Rapid Construction Adaptability: Designed to meet the fast-paced construction requirements of main steel structures, floor decking sheets can quickly provide a firm working platform. They support multi-floor installations by laying profiled steel sheets and sequentially pouring concrete slabs.

2. Increased Stiffness and Material Efficiency: During use, floor decking sheets act as tensile reinforcement for concrete slabs, enhancing the rigidity of the slabs and reducing the amount of rebar and concrete required.

3. Strong Bonding with Concrete: The embossed surface of the decking sheets creates maximum bonding strength with the concrete, forming an integrated structure. The addition of stiffening ribs ensures the system has high load-bearing capacity.

4. Cantilever Application: Under cantilever conditions, floor decking sheets serve as permanent form-work. The length of the cantilever can be determined based on the cross-sectional characteristics of the decking sheets. To prevent cracking of the cantilevered sections, negative reinforcement should be placed at the supports as designed by structural engineers.
