Standard duty flange frame dampers is produced by VCD Making Machine, which is available for a variety of blade types and controls. Designed for central air conditioning systems to shut off or regulate flow.
3-V Blade
These dampers consist of multiple 3-V vanes, constructed with a C-shaped 6" (150mm) deep frame, with 25/40mm pipe fit flanges and opposed vane gang actuation. Manufactured blades are reinforced with 3 longitudinally designed V-shapes.
Electric 3V Damper:
Includes an extended shaft for electric assembly, with a choice of electric and pneumatic actuators. These dampers are suitable for applications such as automatic control of low to medium pressure systems, i.e. temperature control with zone thermostats.
Manual 2V Damper:
Includes manual hand quadrant consisting of PVC knob, position lock and position indicator for manual balance or control. Typically used in medium and low voltage systems.
Round Blade
These dampers consist of a single fabricated circular blade sealed in a 6" (150 mm) deep circular frame with bends at both ends for circular pipe connections. Circular ducts have lower resistance to airflow, thus saving energy.
Electric Circular Damper:
It includes extended shafts for electric assembly with various electric and pneumatic actuators. Suitable for low to medium pressure and velocity systems with vane seals for low leakage applications.
Manual Circular Damper:
Includes manual quadrant with PVC knob, position lock and position indicator for manual balancing or control in low to medium pressure and speed systems, with blade seal for low leakage applications.
Airfoil Blade
These dampers consist of multiple heavy duty extruded aluminum airfoil vanes in a C 4.5" (115mm) deep frame, with 25mm flanges to fit ducts, exposed gear drives, EPDM vane seals. The double-skin airfoil provides lower resistance to airflow and increases the strength of the blade.
Electric Airfoil Damper:
Includes extended shafts for electric assembly and a selection of electric and pneumatic actuators.
Suitable for use as automatic controls in high pressure and high speed systems with vane seals for low leakage applications. i.e. temperature control with zone thermostats, or pressure relief with pressure switches, etc.
Manual Airfoil Damper:
Includes manual quadrant with PVC knob, position lock and position indicator for manual balancing or control in high pressure and high speed systems, with blade seal for low leakage applications.
These dampers are available as electric or manual 3V vane end face and bypass dampers for use in low to medium voltage systems as automatic or manual control applications.
