Production Process Of Cable Tray

1. Material preparation

The manufacturing process of galvanized cable tray firstly requires the preparation of materials. Usually, low carbon steel plate is used as the base material, which has good plasticity and welding performance. 2. Processing and cutting

The prepared steel plate is cut, according to the design requirements and the required size into the corresponding plate. This step is usually carried out by mechanical equipment such as shears and cutting machines.

 

3. Bending

The cut steel plate is bent to form the cross-section shape of the bridge. This step is usually done by hydraulic bending machine or roll bending machine. According to different design requirements, different bending angles and section shapes can be selected.

 

4. Welding

Weld the bent steel plate to fix the structure of the bridge. Usually use electric welding or gas welding way to carry out. During the welding process, it is necessary to ensure the quality and firmness of the welding seam to ensure the stability and safety of the cable tray.

 

5. Surface treatment

After the welding is completed, the galvanized cable tray needs to be surface treated. First of all, pickling and descaling to remove the oxides and dirt on the steel surface; then pickling neutralization and cleaning to thoroughly clean the surface; and finally galvanizing treatment, immersing the cable tray into the galvanizing tank to cover the surface with a layer of zinc to enhance the corrosion resistance and prolong the service life.

 

6. Quality testing

After manufacturing galvanized cable tray, quality inspection is required to verify that the product meets the design and standard requirements. The quality inspection includes size check, strength test, corrosion resistance test, etc.. Only through the quality inspection products can be sold and used.

 

7. Packaging and transportation

The galvanized cable tray which passes the quality inspection needs to be packed to prevent damage during transportation. Usually use cartons, wooden boxes or pallets and other ways to pack. During transportation, attention needs to be paid to avoid collision and extrusion to ensure the integrity and safety of the product.

Through the above process, the galvanized cable tray can be successfully manufactured. This process can ensure the quality and performance of the product and provide long-lasting corrosion resistance.
