How To Operate The Related Forming Process

Sep 28, 2020

During the filling stage of the 2d molding machine, the screw (or plunger) starts to move, and the melt enters the cavity until the cavity is filled. When starting to fill the mold, there is no pressure in the cavity. After the cavity is filled, the pressure of the material flow rises to the maximum value rapidly. The mold filling time is related to the molding pressure. When the mold is filled at a slow speed, the melt of the ancestor mold will cool and the viscosity will increase. The subsequent melt will enter the cavity under a higher pressure, because the melt is subject to higher The shear stress and the high degree of molecular orientation reduce the quality; and during rapid filling, the melt will generate more frictional heat when passing through the pouring system quickly, which will increase the temperature of the material. Keep the temperature at a higher value, the degree of molecular orientation can be reduced, and the degree of welding of plastic parts is also higher. However, when the mold is filled too fast, the welding of the rear part with the insert is often not good, resulting in poor strength of the plastic part.

After the relevant materials are plasticized in the heating barrel of the injection molding machine, the plunger or reciprocating screw is injected into the cavity of the closed mold to form the plastic processing method of the product. This method can process products with complex shapes, precise dimensions or with inserts, and has high production efficiency. Most thermoplastics and some thermosetting plastics (such as phenolic plastics) can be processed by this method. The material used for injection molding must have good fluidity to fill the mold cavity to obtain the product.

Varies due to processing materials. The injection molding of thermoplastics includes processes such as feeding, plasticizing, injection, holding pressure, cooling, and demoulding. The molding of thermosetting plastics and rubber also includes the same process, but the barrel temperature is lower than that of thermoplastics, but the injection pressure is higher. The mold is heated. After the material is injected, it needs to undergo a curing or vulcanization process in the mold, and then release the film while it is hot . Injection molding refers to a model with a certain shape. The melted gel is injected into the cavity by pressure to form. The process principle is: melt the solid plastic at a certain melting point, and inject the mold at a certain speed through the pressure of the injection machine Inside, the mold is cooled by water channels to solidify the plastic to obtain the same product as the designed cavity. Injection molding (injection molding) is a method in which thermoplastic or thermosetting molding materials are uniformly plasticized in a heating barrel, and then pushed into the cavity of a closed mold by a plunger or a moving screw. Injection molding is suitable for almost all thermoplastics. Injection molding has also been successfully used to mold certain thermoset plastics. The molding cycle of injection molding is short (a few seconds to a few minutes), and the quality of molded products can range from a few grams to tens of kilograms. It can form molded products with complex shapes, accurate dimensions, and metal or non-metal inserts at one time. Therefore, the method has strong adaptability and high production efficiency.
